Love is the assignment
what to expect
The Canterbury School of Greensboro has graciously allowed us to use their special events center, Berry Hall, for our worship services. Located in northeast Greensboro, this state-of-the-art, 300-person auditorium provides ample space for us to launch, build, and grow together.
When You Arrive
When you arrive on campus, you will see flags directing you to the entrance and parking lot. If it is your first time visiting, have small children, or have riders with special accommodations, turn your car's blinkers on to notify our attendants for parking closer to the building.
Service Time
After entering Berry Hall and finding a comfortable seat for you and/or your family, the service will begin promptly at 10:00 am with a greeting from a member of our church leadership.
Children and Younger Participants
While we believe that Sundays are for families of all sizes to come together, we are fully aware that our younger members may find sitting still for extended periods of time to be challenging. That is why immediately after our welcome the first 10 minutes of the service are dedicated to an interactive message on their level, experienced corporately, and taught by our lead pastor. Once it concludes, they will be provided with supplemental activities to enjoy in our Fearless Love Youth area.
Praise and Worship
At Fearless Love, we appreciate many types of worship music, from hymns to CCM (Contemporary Christian Music) and Gospel. However, nothing is more awkward at church than feeling like everyone knows the song except for you. That is why each Wednesday, we publish a playlist for you to enjoy at home in preparation for corporate worship.
(We are also mindful that some guests have sensory needs and cannot tolerate loud music. So we will always do our best to monitor volume and provide earplugs for those who desire.)
Teaching
At Fearless Love, understanding the word of God in a relevant way is of the utmost importance. That is why our lead pastor prioritizes expository (or explanatory) and inspirational teaching to ensure that we can hear clearly what God's Spirit is saying to our home.
Spiritual Development
At the conclusion of the sermon, we provide additional time for development through texting in questions about the sermon and prayer requests. Answers to those questions will be sent during the week and those with wide appeal will be posted on our website. Prayer requests are never referenced publicly.
Invitations to become a disciple of Christ will also be extended during this time. Occasionally, we will offer one-on-one prayer, often known as an "altar call."
Fellowship
Immediately following the conclusion of the service, you will have the opportunity to meet and greet guests and members. We allow this time so that we can be strengthened through fellowship and grow as a community.
